Uses of Nitenpyram

• Fleas on dogs and cats.
• It should be used as part of a fully integrated flea control programme.
• All animals in the affected household should be treated.
• Safe in pregnancy and lactation.

Dose of Nitenpyram in Dogs and Cats

Dogs, Cats:

• Fleas: 1 mg/kg once (minimum dose) or q24h.

Side Effects of Nitenpyram in Dogs and Cats

• A transient increase in pruritus may be seen after administration due to fleas reacting to the product.

Contraindications of Nitenpyram in Dogs and Cats

• Do not use 11.4 mg tablet in animals <1 kg or 4 weeks old.
• Do not use the 57 mg tablet in dogs <11 kg.
