Overview

• Flea adulticide.
• Nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist.
• Synergist activity with permethrin was observed in vitro.

Uses of Dinetofuran

• For the treatment and prevention of ticks and fleas.
• The product has repellent activity against sandflies, mosquitoes, and stable flies.
• Remains effective after the animal is immersed in water (swimming/bathing).

Dose of Dinetofuran in Dogs and Cats

Dogs:

One spot-on monthly.

Cats:

Not for use in cats.

Side Effects of Dinetofuran in Dogs and Cats

• In rare cases, behavioral disorder signs such as hyperactivity, vocalization or anxiety.
• lethargy or anorexia, vomiting and diarrhea and neurological signs such as muscle
  tremors have been reported.

Contraindications of Dinetofuran in Dogs and Cats

• Not for dogs <7 weeks or <1.5 kg.
