Cellulose-based, aqueous tear substitute<\/strong> to replace an aqueous component of trilaminar tear film (lacrimomimetic).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Uses of Hypromellose<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Lubrication of dry eyes.<\/li>\n
In cases of keratoconjunctivitis (KCS or dry eye) it will improve ocular surface lubrication, tear retention and patient comfort while lacrostimulation therapy (e.g. topical ciclosporin) is initiated.<\/li>\n
It may also be used as a vehicle base for compounding ophthalmic drugs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
